Those that are familiar with our photography will know that we shoot all sorts of editorial and commercial projects as well as weddings, we started freelancing over 11 years ago and have since covered so many editorial and commercial projects that it is hard to recount them all; however, one we'll never forget is the cover and spread we shot with Indy star Danica Patrick. The issue is slowly making it's way around the world via Air Tran Airlines, once it's dropped all the way we'll share a bit more from the shoot, until then the May 2009 cover.....

Yesterday we spent the afternoon building sand castles, O.K. not really castles but throwing sand around. We were out shooting an assignment and collecting some stock images for one of our clients, all in all the day was, well sandy. Just finished spending a couple hours cleaning all our gear, just a small price to pay to get some really awesome images........

Sorry for the blog slacking....... Lots has been going on and today was a day that I'm pretty sure we'll never forget. Here's a quick run down, and you can go HERE for a little more:  
-wake up 3:30 a.m.  
- head to the airport and catch a fight to Phoenix, 4:30  
-land in Phoenix, pick up rental car  
-locate coffee and food in downtown Phoenix, 10:45 a.m.  
-finish coffee time 11:00  
-12:00 meet creative director and stylist for shoot, hash out details and looks  
-1:00 on location at studio, setting up lights  
-2:00 waiting for hair and make-up  
-2:30 still waiting for hair and make-up  
-3:00 stylist working on wardrobe  
-3:30 shoot first look  
-4:30 shoot 2nd look  
-5:30 shoot third look  
-6:00 wrap shoot and tear down set  
-6:30 return rental car  
-7:00 shuttle to airport  
-7:30 run to catch flight  
-9:00 home sweet home  
 
Long day........We were in Phoenix shooting a cover feature with Indy racer Danica Patrick, we won't be able to post any pics for a while so you'll have to enjoy one of the set-ups with non-other then Trish......

Today we were out and about shooting a cover for Volleyball Magazine, we were working with Hayley Spelman and she is tall, 6'6" to be exact. Needless to say I couldn't pass up a shot like this.........

This afternoon we headed out to the desert in search of some creative juice for the marketing company, Forte Creative Media. Over the past year we have worked on and photographed many projects with FCM, the latest being Wanderlei Silva, The fearless leader of FCM (Stephanie Forte) and Studio ATG go way back to our days in the world of rock climbing, we have photographed Stephanie for National Geographic Adventure Magazine, U.S. and News and World Report, and Women of Climbing 2007, needless to say this was not her first time in front of our camera lens. The shoot was a lot of fun and very creative, we'll post a couple down the road, until then meet FCM.........

Tonight we had a shoot that pretty much topped many of the commercial shoots we have done in the past, this is only a very small sneak peek. We'll post more once we finish all the processing and editing. We were both blown away by the product, concept and the results of the product, if your an athlete stay tuned it will be worth the wait........

Some might remember a while back we shot Jazz player Carlos Boozer while he was in town practicing with the mens Olympic basketball team, the shoot was pretty simple get some cool engaging pics for our client Mens Fitness Magazine. One of our passions is shooting athletes and I can tell you first hand Carlos is one of the nicest athletes we have ever worked with, he brought his "A" GAME........ Below is a couple of our favs, we shot in the locker room of Trish's old high school, kinda funny........  
 
P.S. the locker room was not meant for pro b-ball players, benchers are short, lockers are small and the shower heads hit their knees........

Trish did a super cool family session the other day and I skipped out to shoot some commercial work for one of our clients. Buildings don't move, they don't need to smile, and they almost always look the same, I say this because they are hard as all #$%^$## to photograph. The cool thing is I get a chance to play with some on camera filters which is pretty rare do to the wonders of photoshop. Anyway here's one from tonight.......
