Today we were out on assignment for Men's Fitness Magazine shooting one of the coolest athletes in the world. Utah Jazz player & USA Basketball team pro, Carlos Boozer.  
 
What energy, what enthusiasm and excitement about participating in the Olympics and an amazingly gracious athlete to boot. We both felt very lucky to have the opportunity to get to know him and create some incredible images.  
 
Won't see the pics for a little while, but once they're published, of course we'll share.

Last night we finished up our shooting project for Central Christian Church, we'll post more in a couple days........  
 
Today through thurs. the studio will be closed, we will be available via email and phone, but will not be in the studio....... Operation Ruby Tuesday is under way (that's what I'm calling it) it's a special mission to So Cal. for some quick R&R and getting a bunch of &*$%#@^&@*(*(@((@ for the new studio........... Stay tuned......... Until then have a great couple of days.........

So you might remember seeing something about us doing a shoot with John O'Hurley (aka J. Petermen) a while back, well here are the fruits to our labor. We were shooting for a new editorial client that was referred to us by Slam Magazine whom we have shot assignments for in the past, I should add when it comes to editorial work we are pretty picky as to the stuff we will shoot, and this assignment was a no brainer........ The long and short of it, when shooting this kind of assignment your lucky to get about 15 minutes with the talent and you have to get what your client wants, so the stress factor is very very high. We wanted to create something that was a little different and at the same time silly matching Mr. O'Hurley's personality, and I'm pretty sure we nailed it, at least our client thought so....... Enjoy the images and slideshow.  
 
The slideshow is un-cut and includes every image we captured while on the assignment, thought it might be interesting to see it all, keep in mind we only had 15 minutes.............  
 
 
 
 

Last night we shot Christina & Gina from CertaPro Painters, they were in need of some fresh images for their marketing........ These two ladies are a bundle of joy, smiles, and laughs it was a pleasure working with them.... Couple quick ones.......

Well, we had a pretty good lunch today at the studio............ we've been shooting some food for Trish's parent's restaurant, the Sicilian Caffe  
 
Trish is in the process of building them a new website, so they wanted to have some incredible photos that matched the incredible flavors of their authentic cooking.  
 
If you haven't visited, it's right next to the studio and everything is delicous. Plus you get the company of her super fun parents. They'll basically feed you until you're feeling very happy...  
 
Awesome food, and now I'm hungry again...........

One of the hardest things for me to photograph is buildings, they don't respond that well when you tell them to move into the light or to bring their chin down. Over the last couple of weeks we've been working with a client that wanted images of the buildings they had a part in designing. Long story short it was cold, fun, interesting, challenging, and rewarding........ Some of my favs.......

We're pretty proud of this image, Patagonia Clothing picked up one of our images to run in their 2008 Heart of Winter catalogs. The coolest thing about this image is that it was shot with film, Velvia 50, it just doesn't get much better then Velvia............ Find Patagonia HERE  
 
 

So here's some shots from an idea that has been bouncing around in my head for a long time........ Maybe inspired by the NFR not really sure, we've shot a far share of mountain biking and this time we wanted to try some new ideas and techniques..... I like the results........

Couple quick ones from yesterday......... We have a really cool shoot set-up for this weekend, something I've had in my head for awhile, let's see if we can bring my ideas to life.......... I'm getting excited........
