Soooooo....yesterday we had the wonderful pleasure of shooting Justin & Amanda's Kick ass engagement session....and what made it even more wonderful was that they brought me CUPCAKES for my birthday!!!! YEAH!!!!  
 
I ate some last night and shared a few with our office staff...so Fun!!! Thanks you guys for thinking of me.....YOU GUYS ROCK!!!

We often talk about our dogs well here's all of us together as a family thanks to the self timer on our trusty little point and shoot. The year is slowly winding down, we've been busy processing last minute Christmas orders and are eagerly waiting for the mountains to fill up with the white stuff, so until then we've been bring our dogs to the mountains to run around and play in the snow.......

Little photo nonsense of me and beeber from yesterday...see, we were all bundled up as they were freezing yesterday, and of course, had time for a few moments of our own entertainment.....he he he.....

Yesterday we received some very shocking news, so today we pay tribute to National Geographic Adventure Magazine, the magazine will no longer be available in print, Dec-Jan will be the last issue. When I first started shooting one of my major goals was to work with the National Geographic brand, they are known for holding a very high standard when it comes to photography and the editorial content they provided.  
 
One of the first major photography trips Trish and I made as a couple was shooting an assignment up and down the coast of California, not only did we produce some killer images but it brought us closer as a couple, even though at one point Trish was sick of the truck and pulled over and tossed everything out on the side of the road threatening to toss her bag over the side of a cliff....  
 
Anyway, over the years we have worked closely with several of the editors at National Geographic Adventure on assignments and we are sad to see this truly one of a kind, top-notch publication go, we wish them all the best and we want to say thanks for trusting us in creating images for them over the years..........

One huge thing to be thankful for this year, three years ago today Trish and I tied the knot, and I have been the luckiest guy on the planet ever since........ Trish, you will always make me smile.... Love Ya.......

As many of you can tell by the looks of the blog we have been crazy I mean really crazy busy, they year has been buzzing by faster then a bee with a backwards stinger. We have a bunch of stuff to blog including about 6 or 7 Turbo Charged Christmas sessions and portraits, but all that is gonna have to wait a couple days as we're off for a bit of R&R and the search for some white gold among other goodies and ideas we've been kicking around for years. We'll be back to our nonsense in a couple days, until then we're ottttaaaaa here.............  
 
One more thing we have a couple last minute spots left for our truly one of a kind Christmas sessions if anyone still wants in.....

As many of you know, October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month pretty much across the United States; but what you may not know is that the Breast Cancer Network of Strength hosted a scenic and challenging bike ride right here in Las Vegas to raise funds for this incredible cause. Studio ATG was proud to photograph and document the event.  
 
The event was hosted at the always wonderful Red Rock Resort & Casino, with the super fun Tynesha Artis at the helm. It was a long ride for the participants who biked almost 100 miles; as they returned, they raved about the challenging and beautiful course that wound through the majesty of Red Rock Canyon and led riders all the way to the Mountain Springs Saloon.  
 
The best part of the day for me was when we arrived and began to shoot, a few of these wonderful participants greeted us with such thankfulness and even took a few moments to share the stories of their lives with us.... We were of course humbled by learning of the challenges many of them have either faced themselves or have supported their loved ones through. Just felt great to be there and be a part of such a great event.  
 
Enjoy some of the memories we shared with these folks and always, give back to the world when you can....it'll make you feel super good inside while helping others as well.....

Ok...so minor mishap.....start and finish signs sort of backwards....but we all knew it was the start....

I got started a little later on the course, so I decided to stick with two women who were riding together and documented their ride....really cool to see them finish cause they were so fun....!

This is the time of year when we are swamped so yesterday we decided to take the afternoon off in search of some peace, quite, and fall color. We found just what we were looking for up at Mt Charleston along the Mary Jane Falls Trail. The colors of fall littered the slopes and it was a perfect way to spend the afternoon with the dogs. Sometimes we get so busy we forget to slow down and just soak up what is around us, so we want to thank our dogs for reminding us to slowdown......
