So...the moment our family had been waiting for finally arrived about 14 days ago....my brother Tony & Heather welcomed their first baby, little Marcus Antonio....  
 
He was absolutely the tiniest bundle of joy and with very curious eyes to boot! I shot these images shortly after he arrived in the hospital because I wanted to give them something very special to remember the biggest event of their lives so far.....Hope everyone enjoys the photos as much as we're all enjoying loving this little person.....  
 
Know it's a long post with a lot of photos, but I just sort of shot these off the cuff, editorial style so black and white just felt like it preserved the moment in a very special way. We love you guys very, very much!

I just love the way he's looking at my mom; when I saw this, I realized what a truly unique experience it is to be there in the hospital sharing their joy....

Congrats you guys, we love you and Marcus, you can always rely on Aunt Trish & Uncle Jared....

Things have been normal around the studio; and of course by normal, we mean busy.....  
 
First up would have to be a story we shot with a real live caveman, no joke, we traveled into the depths of southern Utah to seek out this unique person. All I can say is interesting and awakening when it comes to diet, more to come later.....  
 
Second, Books and lots of them. We have been in the process of doing some studio work for the company that supplies us with our Fine Art Signature Albums. Pretty cool to think that they look at thousands of wedding albums every year and they wanted us to shoot their products, not to toot, but I will, toot, toot.....so excited to do something wonderful for them after they've made so many of you crazy happy....!  
 
Third CEO's, yup been shooting some of the leaders that run fortune 500 companies, have been learning a lot about business and actually pulling off some amazing portraits.  
 
Fourth, Boudoir, Trish has been knocking the socks off me every time she shows me some of her latest and greatest boudoir work. For starters I am a perfectionist, super picky, and very hard to please, but I have to say Trish has brought her "A" GAME when it comes to this stuff; in a nut shell I have never seen images like her recent stuff.....  
 
So there it is.... busy, this time of year we're not shooting much wedding stuff, but just wait til next week, we'll be back at it like crazy people as we kick off the season.... Get a chance swing by the biggest and best Bridal Show Las Vegas has to offer, Bridal Spectacular, this coming Friday and Saturday, swing on by and slap us a high 5......booth 174 & 178....

Ready to get your Studio ATG fix on for a Monday? Well, this Monday, we'll be doing an appearance on the FOX5 MORE show between 9:15-9:45 am!  
 
It's great news as we'll be talking about our work and Las Vegas' Largest Bridal show, The Bridal Spectacular, coming up at Cashman Center, January 29-30th, 2010. As we were selected by our peers and brides as the winner of their cover image contest and story ( featuring the beautiful Lindsay & Patrick below!), should be super fun, and we'll also be announcing a big GIVEAWAY for 2010!  
 
We're excited to be representing ourselves and the Bridal Spectacular and we hope you'll tune in to channel 5 on Monday around 9am for the MORE show!

Not much happening on the blog, sorry, just been a little busy. The year is off to a racing start we have been shooting like crazy, from some basketball stuff to a real live caveman (long story, but we'll share it once we can release the pics).  
 
Anyway, wanted to mention the upcoming bridal show we will be attending, Bridal Spectacular, January 29th & 30th at Cashman Center, we have lots of exciting stuff to show those who attend the show, STUDIO ATG 2.0 is coming.......  
 
We'd also like to toss out a huge welcome to the newest little member of the Gumina family, Marcus Antonio Gumina, congrats Heather and Tony, we are very excited for you both........ Trish will have pics posted soon......  

We spent 2009 working on new ideas, fixing old problems and figuring out ways that we could streamline the way we work in the end making it easier for our clients. Some of the changes we made over 2009 were major and some were small.  
 
All the new things we have been doing required us to track down some new talent for the studio, in comes the talented Stesha. This girls got skillz, no joke, Stesha has been with us for several months now and she is proving herself as a true asset to our studio, she has been shaping things up and helping us in pretty much every way possible. Let's toss out a huge welcome to Stesha our newest team member, you might have seen her HERE, then again maybe it was this POST, regardless we'd like to welcome Stesha to the Studio ATG family.....  

Last week we found ourselves back at the Andre Agassi Preparatory Academy to shoot part number 2 of our project with them. For part number 1 we photographed a new section of the school along with a bunch of the children, for part number 2 we wanted to kick it up a notch and focus on who makes up the Academy, from the staff to the students. Our goal was to create intimate portraits of the people who make up the school, we photographed roughly 94 people and created over 700 images. For the shoot we brought out the entire Studio ATG team, everyone had a blast, thank you Stesha and Jason, Trish was busy running around working on another branch of the project and created some great stuff, we'll share that down the road. So a huge thanks to the Andre Agassi Foundation for letting us do what we do, it was inspiring to spend the afternoon with you all......

Most of you that visit our blog on a regular basis know we photograph weddings, but did you know we have an entirely different BRAND of work that has been growing and growing very strong over the past 10 years. This year alone we have photographed several covers for various magazines from around the world and have worked on several editorial and commercial projects topping all that off this month our sports portraiture is being featured in Digital Photo Pro Magazine. They interviewed us for the piece and for the first time we spoke freely about what it really takes to be a professional photographer, jump on over HERE to read the interview.

If a picture is worth a 1000 words then we created 700,000 today at the Andre Agassi College Prep Acad. Today was filled with very high energy, laughs, grins, frowns, talent, and a bunch of really neat people, we'll post a bunch more pics in a couple days and give you all the dirt on this truly awesome project...... Thank you Agassi Acad............Keep up the great work......

Couple weeks back you might recall we photographed some portraits of Andre Agassi for one of our editorial clients, well after the story ran Agassi's staff contacted us and mentioned how much they all loved the images and wondered if we'd be up for shooting some more images for the Andre Agassi, College Preparatory Academy, we jumped at the chance. This morning was part one of the two part project and we are very excited to share this project once it is complete sometime in December. Until then here is just a very small taste of what's to come.
